Edward joined the Litigation department of Thomas Guise in October 2005 and specialises in Property Litigation. He studied law at the University of Essex and the University of Konstanz in Southern Germany, qualifying in 2003.

Edward’s most notable case to date has been the decision of the Court of Appeal in Eagle v. Chambers (No.1) [2003] EWCA Civ 1107, which was a key decision of the Appeal Court on the issue of apportionment of responsibility for damage in road traffic cases. He has also acted in several unreported high-value construction disputes, often involving complex technical expert evidence

His interests revolve primarily around music, conducting and playing euphonium with Worcester Concert Brass and Tenbury Town Band and playing trombone with both Worcester and Cheltenham Philharmonic Orchestras.

He also enjoys walking in the hills, real ale and the occasional game of cricket.
