Wayne Thomas - Director

Wayne Thomas is one of the founding partners of Thomas Guise and has been based in Worcestershire since completing his legal training in Birmingham in 1979. His early years were spent with Bromsgrove solicitors, Holt & Sellars, but in 1986 he moved to Worcester to develop a fledgling branch office for the firm. This was a small affair comprising 3 rooms and 4 members of staff; however it laid the foundations for what is now the head office of Thomas Guise.

Initially Wayne dealt with a wide range of legal work, but as the firm grew he developed a specialism in corporate law. These days he heads up the Corporate Team, supervising the services it provides to the firm’s business clients.

Although the team deals with a variety of business sectors, Wayne has for many years been prominent in the care home sector and has given numerous seminars to care home owners on the legal issues facing them.

In addition to his legal work, Wayne plays a major part in the development and management of Thomas Guise. He takes particular pleasure in recruiting new solicitors and seeing them grow into their roles, providing the firm with strength in depth.

Out of work activities are very much a family affair. He also plays football, tennis and golf. In earlier years his passion was to race cars, but now he contents himself with the occasional karting event.
