Thomas Guise Solicitors are celebrating the completion of another deal in the care sector. The corporate team, headed by Tom Bartley-Smith, acted for Nick Williams in the sale of Pencombe Hall, near Bromyard.
The Hall, which stands in grounds approaching 5 acres and commands impressive views across open countryside to the Malverns, is currently registered for 32 residents. It was sold for an undisclosed sum to David Cope, who already owns 3 care homes.
Nick Williams purchased Pencombe Hall in 1986 and has been heavily involved in the day-to-day business ever since. He says: “The Hall has been a huge part of my life for nearly a quarter of a century. It will be a wrench to move on, but I am confident that the home – and the residents – are in safe hands with David and the team.”
Tom Bartley-Smith comments: “It was a pleasure to act for someone like Nick, who so obviously loves the business he has built up. I’m thrilled we delivered a great result for Nick and managed to do so in a fairly short space of time. I wish him every success for the future, whatever it may hold.”
Nick adds: “Tom was a great help throughout the sale process. He was with me every step of the way and it gave me huge confidence to have him on my side.”
The sale was arranged by Paul Burford of Jones Lang LaSalle. David Cope was represented by Melanie Verth of Gaby Hardwicke Solicitors.
