New Recruit for Thomas Guise Solicitors
Thomas Guise Solicitors, one of Worcestershire’s leading law firms has recently appointed Edward Holmes to join their expanding Litigation department. Edward moved to Worcester in 2003 having qualified from the University of Essex with a 2:2 law degree. As part of his four-year degree course Edward spent 12 months in southern Germany where he was able to use his European language skills and pursue other interests.
On returning to the UK Edward moved to York to complete his studying at the City’s reputable Law School. He then spent some time working for a law practice in Great Yarmouth, near his home town of Lowestoft, before moving across to Worcester. Edward joined Thomas Guise in October this year and will be working from their Foregate Street office.
He has primarily been brought on board to assist colleague Geoffrey Ellis with the firm’s civil litigation matters and to assist the partners with promoting and developing the practice.
Senior Partner Wayne Thomas, says: “Our litigation work load has increased considerably over the past 12 months and this is an area of the practice that we are keen to expand further. The time was right to appoint another solicitor with Edward’s qualifications and experience, to help market our services to local individuals and the business community as a whole.”
