A two mile walk might not sound like much, but when you’re six months old it’s quite an achievement!

So we were delighted when Molly Bartley-Smith (right) managed just that – and raised £100 for charity in the process. OK, so she’s got four legs and a waggy tail, but little Molly trotted round the course in just over half an hour, despite numerous distractions – not least the 20 other dogs! The walk took Molly and her companions through Brasenose Woods in Oxford – an idyllic spot packed with squirrels to be chased!

Molly’s sponsorship monies will go to the Animal Health Trust, which is a charity working to improve the health and welfare of dogs, cats and horses. Molly’s ‘dad’ Tom Bartley-Smith, associate solicitor in our corporate team, said: “We had great fun and – thanks to the generosity of staff at TG – managed to raise a decent amount for a great charity. In total the event raised £800, which is terrific. Best of all, Molly was judged third most obedient dog!”
