Thomas Guise completes sale of care group
Thomas Guise Solicitors are celebrating the completion of another high profile deal in the care sector. The firm’s corporate team acted for Ian and Maria Bradley in the sale of the Morecambe-based Clover Care Group for an undisclosed sum.
The Clover Care Group comprises a 6-bed care home and 12 supported living units for those with learning difficulties. In all, the Group provides care for 44 adults and employs 106 staff.
Tom Bartley-Smith, who headed the team at Thomas Guise, comments: “We were delighted to act for Ian and Maria. The business they built up was highly successful because they really do care. That’s what made the deal so enjoyable.”
Ian Bradley adds: “So far as the sale was concerned, we’re grateful to Tom and his team for their positive input and practical advice. They just about kept us sane!”
Accountancy advice was provided to Ian and Maria by James Harper, partner in Cheltenham firm Harper Sheldon. James says: “The fact Ian and Maria, who live and work in Lancashire, instructed solicitors in Worcester and accountants in Cheltenham just shows how far a good reputation travels.”
