New Partner for Thomas Guise Solicitors
Former Worcester Royal Grammar School pupil, Stuart Bailey has recently been made a partner of one of Worcestershire’s leading law firms, Thomas Guise Solicitors.
Having completed a law degree back in the nineties at Leicester University, then going on to Law School in Sheffield, Stuart started his working career with a firm of solicitors in Malvern, before moving on to Rickerbys in Cheltenham.
After a couple of years in Gloucestershire, Stuart returned to his home county and joined local firm Thomas Guise, assisting the other two partners Wayne Thomas and Phil Guise to promote and develop the practice.
Wayne Thomas, says: “It was obvious from the start that Stuart had the makings of a partner, and has proved to be a real asset to our firm over the last few years, helping with a number of local high profile deals and several national care-home acquisitions.” As a result Stuart’s experience and expertise has been established in the field of landlord and tenant work and commercial property matters. In fact earlier this year he was asked to speak by the local Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) to approximately 40 leading Midland surveyors at Worcester’s County Hall, to highlight changes in commercial Landlord and Tenant legislation.
Stuart says of his recent appointment: “I was extremely flattered to be invited to be a partner of this expanding practice at such a young age. It’s extremely rewarding to walk through Worcester and see various projects in which I have been instrumental in, such as start-up businesses and relocation moves and I am looking forward to helping develop the practice further.”
